VIETNAMESE COMMUNITY IN SINGAPORE PARTICIPATES IN INTERNATIONAL MIGRANTS DAY 2025
Singapore, 14 December 2025 – In celebration of International Migrants Day (IMD), ACE Group under the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) of Singapore organised the IMD 2025 commemorative event, with the participation of representatives from government agencies, social organisations, community groups, and corporate partners in Singapore.
In response to the event, the Liaison Committee of the Vietnamese Community in Singapore (VNAS) actively participated alongside the Organising Committee in distributing thousands of gift sets to migrant workers, including hundreds of Vietnamese workers, while also taking part in cultural exchange and community bonding activities. The participation of VNAS demonstrates the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, and the bridging role of the Vietnamese community in Singapore, thereby contributing to recognizing and spreading the positive contributions of migrant workers to Singapore’s society and development.
The Beauty of Multiculturalism – Connecting Communities
International Migrants Day 2025 aims to raise awareness about the roles and contributions of migrant workers, while fostering mutual understanding and connection between the migrant community and the people of Singapore. This year’s event was centered around cultural activities, artistic performances, and community showcases, celebrating the beauty of multiculturalism and the harmonious spirit of Singaporean society.
At the invitation of ACE Group (MOM), VNAS participated in the event with:
• A traditional Vietnamese cultural performance, and
• A community exhibition booth, showcasing VNAS’s activities and contributions, while providing an opportunity for the Vietnamese community to introduce Vietnamese culture and cuisine to international friends through authentic Vietnamese gifts and interactive booth experiences.
This was an opportunity for visitors to not only learn about the Vietnamese community in Singapore, but also directly experience vibrant, welcoming, and deeply rooted cultural values.

As part of the programme, the Liaison Committee of the Vietnamese Community in Singapore (VNAS) actively participated and worked alongside with the Organising Committee in distributing thousands of gift packages to migrant workers, including hundreds of Vietnamese workers. VNAS also took part in various cultural exchange and community-building activities.
VNAS’s participation reflects a strong sense of responsibility, solidarity, and its role as a bridge for the Vietnamese community in Singapore, thereby contributing to the recognition and promotion of the positive contributions made by migrant workers to Singapore’s society and development.

These activities offered visitors an engaging and immersive way to experience the warmth, creativity and rich cultural heritage of Vietnam.
